Captain Al's Steak & Seafood: A Culinary Haven for Steaks and Seafood Lovers

Stopped in for some brunch...food was absolutely delicious!! Our server Joey was AWESOME! We had great Bloody Mary's, shrimp appetizer and split the fried green tomato benedict..absolutely YUMMY@!

Absolutely the best filet I’ve ever had! It was so tender you could cut it with a fork and had that pecan cooked flavor. Amazing steak better than most if not all steak houses. My wife got chicken and it was great as well. They work hard in there and it’s always busy for a reason! The trip by boat made it even better. They have a great dock and a sand bar area. Fantastic place.

Heard about the filet dinner special. The entire plate (6oz seared filet, parmesan sauces potato wedges and grilled asparagus) were delicious. When we go back (definitely WILL) I'll ask for less salt on the steak. Server suggests you cut the meat when served to see if temp is right, so photo is off partially eaten meal. 4-star atmosphere due to loud radio/music source behind our heads/booth. Maybe need more speakers around the room instead of blasting from one location. Great indoor mural and well-done Halloween convertible under the building, for sale, that my family enjoyed checking out. Lol

Elisha was our server but the servers worked together to assist if it looked like we needed anything. The food was so fresh it was like they just caught it. The portions were generous and I will be back.

Service was top notch. I don’t remember our waiter’s name but he was awesome. He was an older gentleman who was very fun, outgoing and accommodating! I had the chicken and waffles for my brunch. My sister in law had the shrimp & grits. She had her shrimp on the side with no spices. We gave a 4/5 because her grits tasted a little too vinegar-y. All the other food was good including the hush puppies. I would love to come try this place again. It was busy on a Sunday morning for a reason!

We went for the 2 for $39.99 Steak special and it was delicious. Steak cooked perfect with a great flavor. Their crab salad is my fav but you have to get the ranch and eat the banana peppers with each bite! Their stuffed potato is pretty good as well.

I had a wonderful meal at Captain Al’s! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere and decor set the perfect mood—coastal, inviting, and full of character. ​The highlight, however, was the service. Our servers were incredibly friendly and engaging, making us feel right at home rather than just another table. To top it all off, the food was delicious and fresh. You can tell they take pride in what they do. We will definitely be back!

This place was delicious! The oysters were super fresh, and you can tell everything is high quality. All the seafood we ordered was fresh and cooked perfectly, and the seasoning was perfect. Nothing was too salty or overpowering, just really well balanced. The environment was friendly and inviting! Really nice atmosphere without feeling stuffy. Our waiter was awesome, super friendly and attentive without hovering. Definitely one of the best seafood spots I’ve been to. Can’t wait to come back!
